Day 17 Still can see staplers coming off . :(

Hi All,

It's been day 17 since I went through zsr circumcision. I still can see a plastic white ring with a lot of small steel-plated type staplers attached to my skin just below the head of the penis. I am very much worried about what to do I do clean up the area with sea salt water and also with an antiseptic lotion daily twice, but still not even a single staler has fallen off.

I can see the plastic ring is attached to the skin very tightly. I also feel the pain is minimal now as compared to 5 days ago when I get erections. I don't know what to do i had a word with my doctor he said it will fall off on its own it might take some time as it differs from person to person.

Could anyone please let me know have they experienced like this as the staplers are falling off and what they have done to make them fall.

You've been to your doctor you probably should wait another few days and see at least your pain and discomfort has eased that is a good sign. I'm not familiar with this type of circumcision but I know stitches can hang around as well and sometimes have to be removed. Keep everything clean to prevent infection I presume the wound has healed now and you have no weeping.

Yes, Bro, I can feel less pain when i get erections in night and some times during day when i sleep. I am cleaning the area with sea salt water and anispectic lotion. I hope it wll fall off in next few days but dont know i am afraid it needs to be removed by doctor. I can bare that pain again. My doctor said it will fall off in few days it might take some time as it differes the healing process from person to person.

Like you, I was very afraid too but everything is going smoothly but slow. The staples under the glands head was last to come off for me. And it was tight for long time until a day it just came off while showering on day 20. So wait another 4 to5 days, it will be all fine. How are the other areas? I still have yellow area under the frenulum which is taking forever to heal. I do feel your pain when others report they healed in 3 weeks or so. Give it some time, do not touch/irritate the area by checking frequently. Keep it clean. If you are really feeling bad, do consult the doctor. Can you post a picture of that area?

The other area looks good Bro. The only concern i have is the ring and the stapler below the head and just below the frenulem.

I am on day 18 now hope I will see some difference in next 4 to 5 days as you said. My doctor also said the same thing that the staplers will fall off in some days as it differs from person to person related to healing.

All other area looks fine frenulem area is dry untill i make it wet while bathing, but I dont feel any pain.I am cleaning the area with sea salt water daily twice.
