How do I get comfortable after circumcision

Today I have been circumcised I was told to put my penis vertically but do I wrap the gland and what should I use so I can actually lay down. I’ve been getting a drop of blood now and again. Help please

Congratulations on the circumcision. I got mine last week.

1. Make sure to take painkiller, anti inflammatory drugs, and antibiotics on time

2. Avoid getting the gauze wet

3. I was also told to put the penis upward (towards the navel) for better healing. I did that by wrapping extra layer of tissue paper outside the main gauze. I also wrap the sensitive head, so I can feel less down there. Then I wear tight undies. You can lay down with this arrangement.

Regarding the bleeding:

I also bled 2-3 hours post op. Plus at that time, I had to deal with gruesome pain (hadnt taken painkiller when the anesthesia wore off).

Drops are fine, bloods flowing is not fine. For drops, try wrapping extra gauze and apply pressure for 5 minutes. If the bleeding doesnt stop, please call emergency contact from the hospital or circ clinic.

Had mine do e last year ,I didn't use any extra gauze, let it dry out naturally, also I was wearing boxers ,but not too tight

I bought an abdo guard and underwear for use during the day when I'm out. Really helps in keeping things upright.
