Partial circumcision still tight

About 6 months ago I had a partial circumcision. It’s great that it fixed my phimosis but I now have paraphomosis regularly. If I retract the foreskin quickly after sex it’s fine but takes a bit of tugging to get back over the head. I had a very bad episode where I fell asleep after sex and it inflated ending me up in Accident and Emergency.

I went to see a different specialist who tells me there is no such thing as a partial circumcision (any correspondence he puts in quote marks and was dismissive of the concept!) and that a full circumsision will fix it.

He says he would like to remove the remaining foreskin and some shaft skin - I don’t like the sound of removing that as sounds like it might affect size. So I’m not keen on this.

I’ve attached photos. It just looks odd to me with the shaft getting narrow suddenly at the end. The remainder of the foreskin is there bunched up. (In images I’ve seen this appears part of the erection rather than bunched up so I’m not sure if I’m losing length by this.) it’s very tight on the underside and bumpy. It doesn’t look right to me...

Hope someone can offer some comments.

Thanks

You might want a second opinion from a better doctor and if it does seem to be causing paraphimosis you should do something about it . Maybe steroid ointments and stretching may help or if it doesn't then best to discuss any other treatment modalities with the doc.

Also you don't seem to be too happy with the outcome of the circ you had so it's pertinent that you try to get a doctor who is skilled and experienced to help you out enough. Personally I feel there is something called partial circ btw.

And yes it does seem like the remaining foreskin is the problem here although you might want to ask the doc abt your frenulum as well . All the best !

Thanks for that. I'm going to another consultant - waiting for appointment. Also going back to the original Dr who did it just to see what he says. I think it's a mix for me between it being sore after using it and the fact it just looks constricted.

I've also got white bumps appearing on what is left of the foreskin, but when pulled back they appear exactly where the shaft meets the remaining foreskin.

I hope you get a great doctor and consultation this time around !

Not sure about the white bumps and best to get it checked with the guy who did the circ I guess.

All the very best !
