Is this a major issue?

So it's been about a week since I got a night erection and some stitches pop out and now theres an open wound. Will it heal or should I go and see a doctor?

It depends about the extent of the wound opening but definitely do see your doctor or atleast show it to him over pictures or video call if you are unable to go to the hospital. Generally sutures fall off but in some cases they may rupture/pop out and the scar line might not be perfect . Also some open wounds require Antibiotic dressing or further dressing. All the best !

I had that happen and the area without stitches took twIce as long to heal and didn’t follow a straight line. I wish i got mine stitched back up.

Dear reader, you can support the incision line right after the stitches are popping out by using skin adhesive tape. It will support wound edges not to separate by (nocturnal) erections.

Opened wound will heal by secondary intention. It's not usual that two weeks old wound line to re-suture, cause it will need scalpel to cut wound edges to raw again and the base of the wound (wound bed) is not sterile anymore.
