I had phimosis and short frenulam. 6 days ago had my circumcision surgery by zsr stapler method. On discharge and returning home, bleeding started from frenular region. I had to revisit the hospital on the next day and got the frenulam stitched by doc once again. No more bleeding has occured since. Now the problem is the foreskin right behind the frenulam has become pretty much swollen. Its a lump like formation with no pain while pressing gently. The penis has become swollen over the circumcised stitch end with a lump like formation of foreskin beneath the shaft. Is it normal? My surgeon is not giving any specific remarks.

There will still be a lot of swelling this early and the frenulum area takes longest to heal. I also had a large lump at the stitches in my frenulum and it took weeks to go down and last part to heal. Looks fine now tho
Thanks for your reply looks like an edema ..called my surgeon yesterday and he prescribed chymoral forte x TD for a period of 5 days. Also up for a clinical visit tomorrow. I will keep everyone updated.
After zsr there will be huge swelling along the incision line and under frenulum. Swelling will subside within 10-12 days. Take care not to disturb stitches and excessive bleeding must be checked out. Also avoid having erection or activities which case erection. No excess activities should be done. And take rest. Within 6-8 week all heal and you will be perfectly fine. Dont worryBest of luck.
Just got back from surgeon visit, he suggested chymoral forte for another three days. As per him the swelling will go on its own on the course of recovery period viz 4 weeks. As I don't have any fever or major pain issue, he suggested that an aspiration of edema fluid is not necessary right now. Let's hope for a speedy recovery 🤗
I say yes, the swelling is normal and might last for several months particularly in the frenulum area. I was circumcised a year ago, and that area was the most severely impacted. Be patient. It will calm down and smooth out.
thank you..yes the swelling is maximum at the bottom of foreskin near the stitch end, tender to touch, typically painless but for the last 2 days I am feeling pulsating pain in that region, still manageable with painkillers. I am on my 9th day post op. Let's see how it goes.
Hi everyone, It's my 10th day post op, swelling has reduced drastically last two days, almost to 40% remaining. No considerable pain, just a pinch here and there like few times. I was feeling burning sensation while urination since post op that too seems to be reducing. Just keeping the gauge wrapped around while at work looks like the most difficult thing 😂
21 days past post op..swelling reduced to bare minimum..a little bit at the frenulam region..today on 21st day my surgeon removed the stapler pins manually, hurt a little but finally everything is looking fine
