A lot will depend on how you masturbate. Have you changed from the method you used before circumcision? Are you using lube? Are you taking it easy? Failure not to take care and go easy risks damaging the new skin formed at your scar.

The method is definitely diferent since I no longer have any foreskin. So, I've been massaging my glan and stroking my shaft gently. I am using coconut oil to masturbate which feels pretty good. One issue is that my scar is still a bit rough feeling.

Usually the docs say to wait 6-8 weeks. I wouldn’t push it you are still early in recovery. I waited u till 7 weeks and I went very easy. Make sure you use lube
I would take it easy only because it is a muscle with tissue so the muscle gets worn in general but after a month you should be more than fine. They recommend 6 weeks but 1 month is fine. Also make sure you are urinating afterwards and not before because your urethra may be a bit constricted and you don't want it packed up inside of there drying up and causing pain because of not urinating afterwards

The thing to look at is the way you masturbate and if you use lube. Someone told me the best way to masturbate after being circumcised is to rub the glans in the palm of your hand, with lube in the middle of your palm.
Do you mind me asking how you found the adjustment to masturbating this way? Was it a concern of yours before the circumcision?
Before circumcision I used to stroke my shaft up and down. Must say, that was a great sensation. Now, I have tried to rub my glans in the palm of my hand, but it’s definitely a different feeling. It is not as a rousing.

I use the palm technique as well as it works for me, but mostly I stroke my shaft even though I am circumcised because most of my inner skin remained intact. Is your frenulum still intact or did your doctor retract it onto your inner skin?

My frenulum is still intact. I will have to try and stroke my shaft gently. I’m hoping that once healed I can stroke it like I used to before circumcision.

I don’t have a frenulum actually, but I assume that the doctor that cut me folded it onto my inner skin since that’s my most exogenous zone. But yeah you should be able to do it as soon as you heal

no it’s not weird nor odd. I’m in my 20s and I’m still holding out for marriage so I am horny all the time and usually jerk off every other day to 4 times a week. Some guys need a release more often than others. I mean as long as it’s not hindering your daily routine than it’s totally fine
