How soon can I go into a pool or ocean after circumcision?

Day 10 atm but planning to go to the a pool house on the beach w some friends in 4 days.

If the wound has properly sealed after two weeks then you’re probably OK but best use common sense, keep it clean etc.

Is the incision line TOTALLY healed? If there are some raw spots—NO. You could have problems from impurities in the water.

Im not fully sure what a fully healed incision line is supposed to look like so im not too sure. My doctor told me a week ago I would not have an issue but I might go see him before I go to check. Could you tell me what raw spots mean? and how to check if it is healed? Thanks.

Hey—raw spots would be where the inner and outer skin aren’t joined together—where the wound is still open. Check especially on the underside; of your frenulum was removed I’m thinking that area isn’t healed enough yet. But definitely check with your doctor before jumping in the water. Wouldn’t want you to end up with problems.
