For a couple of days i have been letting the water wash down from my body onto the penis and that's all but kinda worried that aint enough?

Its enough for now. No soap and for goodness sake, no scrubbing! How long since operation? If you want a teaspoon of salt in a small bowl of warm water that you can “dip” your penis in for a few minutes will help healing and cleanliness.

I suppose it would if you put a handful on it but a small amount in warm water is like the sea so maybe a tingle but I didn’t feel anything.

No, it doesn't hurt at all and is a must bro! Dissolve enough salt in warm water that when you add more it doesn't dissolve. Dipping your wick in a jar of warm water 3 times a day is actually a very nice feeling!
