I made a post about 5 months ago. At that time I had an inflammation in the scar. What time later it turned out to be keloids. I have used a cream prescribed by another doctor to help combat keloids. I have been using it for almost 3 months and I feel a great improvement from what it was before. The cream by if anyone asks, is called Contractubex.

Try to keep scar moisturized at least first 3-6 months is way to go. Time is a healer.

Are silicon scar sheets sticky and painful to remove?

The inflammation was in the right part of the scar. Now almost everything has been reduced

It is a little inflamed. But it is barely noticeable. Even that area is tough compared to the other parts of the scar.

Hi Gideon. I have started using contactubex for a similar problem. How long did it take before you noticed an improvement? Did you apply it three times per day?

I used it 2 or 3 times a day. I started to notice improvements from the second month. If you have a hypertrophic scar or keloid it will help you a lot.

Thank you

Does that gel really work better than anything else? I'm massaging my scar with coconut oil but haven't seen much improvement.

The gel has worked perfectly for me. On the other hand, coconut oil used to inflame my scar even more and I did not notice improvements. The gel was recommended to me by a doctor, to help decrease the keloids that I had on my scar
