Hi, you have healed well Man, your stitches should dissolve but sometimes they can be slow. I would prefer to have them removed as it will heal faster when they're gone they have done the job now.

You can ask your doctor to remove the stitches for you, or you can do it yourself. The stitches will have done their job in 10-12 days and really ought to be removed after 14 days to avoid the possibility of 'stitch tunnels' forming.
