There probably isn't one truth. If everyone that had a circumcision truly hated it it would probably have been banned a long time ago. The doctors skill, your anatomy, the style of the cut, your ability to heal probably all play a role in how you recover.

From what I've gathered basically everyone says they lose some sensitivity. Some say minor some say alot. Some are even happy they lose sensitivity because it means they can last longer. Some hate it at first then start to like their cut, I think we have a few like here on the forum.

It also seems to matter if you had the cut against your will or if you did it because you really wanted it.

Majority of men that get cuts get cuts as babies and can't say anything about it. As for adults majority seem okay about it but they had phimosis before and how much that plays a role in their satisfaction I don't know. But many like you and me are not happy about it. I'm personally 6 months in now and I haven't regained any sensitivity. My scar is as ugly as month 2. I have a partial frenelum with zero sensitivity.

Conclusion is that we're all different. Just let time pass and if it doesn't improve there's not a lot that can be done except trying various devices or stretching your foreskin.

I'm on the same page. If I could go back in time I would but I can't. All I can do is talk about my own experience which might differ from other people's experience.

Have you had sex yet?

Personally it went from a 10/10 to 3/10. I do hope it'll get better but I don't think so.

Many folk say its physiological that we need to retrain our brain no more negative thoughts ect how bad was your phimosis? Are you in a relationship atm?

I don't think so. It doesn't make sense that 70 percent of your feeling would disappear after surgery and it to be completely psychological. There might be a mental component but it's obvious it's the lack of foreskin that is the main issue. The mental aspect is a thing doctors or people pro circumcision say to not feel guilty. People really don't know alot about the effects of circumcision. It's not really studied, unfortunately.
