Skin bunching around head when soft - adult circ

Hi there

I'm 8 months post adult circumcision. I've had some swelling that hasn't really gone down since the circumcision (see earlier post on this). I'm not sure whether this is part of it, but when I am flaccid the skin tends to bunch up around the head, but not go over it. My doc said I had a "normal" routine circ which I take to mean circ scar about an inch and a half below the head and moderately tight (still some room to move the shaft but not a lot when erect). It's not a massive issue, but it isn't the cosmetic result I was looking for and it almost looks like I have just retracted my foreskin, rather than looking like a circumcised penis when flaccid. Anyone experienced the same going through this? Can I get it tightened with a revision or would that just be pointless?

Any tips? (excuse the pun...lol)

Hi, I think that's very Common especially if you've had a high cut the inner foreskin can bunch behind the glans when flaccid. It can take up to a year for the scar to soften and smooth out if you massage the scar it should help with any swelling you may have as well. You may need the extra skin when you have erections so I don't know about a revision you would need a very good surgeon.

I'm going to leave it as it is for now and I hope the swelling will still go down further. Appreciate the advise. Glad it sounds like a common issue.

Yes i have the same problem, i had no troubles with Foreskin but decided to get a circumcision for cosmetic reasons and culture. Since then my self esteem has ben very low. I also have swelling on the left side of the inner foreskin, sometimes it is more visibel than other times.

Same here how does it resolve , yes erect is ok . Flaccid I worry skin will get warm bunched up and balanitis etc will return . Is it the fat pad pushing it or scar causing it
