6 months post circumcision

Hello again everyone. I’ve been through alot with my circumcision and even though I dreaded my foreskin because it started to get balanitis, I wish I go back. Also a bit off topic but I read online thar Balanitis is not something you can catch or it’s due to poor hygiene but i only got after I i rubbed dikks with someone who has it so I’m very confused. Anyway it’s 6 months after my circumcision and while the scare has made my penis ugly with a scar ring that wont thin out or go away, I’ve also noticed that almost 70 percent of my sensitivity is gone. I used to stay hard, very hard during head, stroking or penetrating. Now, as soon as the penis is not touched it just goes plop. My ejaculations are mediocre and the euphoric intense climax i was used to is no longer there. These changes are not just a mental thing, i was excited abt being circumcised in the first 3 months and i was having rock hard erections and sensitivity. Ultimately as i healed more the sensitivity has just been void. My sex life is literally a nightmare, it’s like just a few months ago I was a playboy bunny now I’m just at my hookups fapping a soft dic begging it to come to life so i can put it in my impatiently waiting date. I’ve had every sex encounter end in failure. This was not my life. I don’t even feel a sex drive anymore unless induce it, which always turns out mediocre. I eat healthy and exercise. I even take fish oil, cod liver oil, red panax ginseng, raw garlic tea, all the stuff i used to take that always gave my libido a boost. I can get hard, the problem is it won’t stay hard because there’s no sensitivity, I don’t feel anything like a used to, i used to love getting head, but now a mouth doesn’t even feel like anything. Is there anyone out there that can advise me on what to do? How can i treat this problem? Am i ever getting my sensitivity back? If I regrow my foreskin will it be like old?

I am sorry that all has not gone to plan with your circumcision. Sadly, all surgeries are not guaranteed to come without risk. Perhaps you might discuss your issues with a doctor?

Was getting circumcised a sexual fantasy for you and something you thought about during sex? I ask because when you fulfill a fantasy it ceases to become a fantasy anymore and you need another one. I also lost a similar amount of sensitivity. One big problem is that one sexual failure leads to another, you start thinking I'm gonna fail which means you do.

I got the circumcision because I became sexual active last year, I don’t know if it’s because I wasn’t messing around but after i started some rashes came on my foreskin and it easily got smelly even if i washed it properly. I went to the doc and he diagnosed it as balanitis. He told me to use some cream but that didn’t work. All ny life i was used do seeing a healthy foreskin it wasn’t lookin like that anymore, it just looked infected even though the doc said its not n STD. The look of it kept freaking me out, I felt like I had lost a part of myself for hood so I thought maybe a circumcision wouldn’t be so bad and I wouldn’t have to look at or smell my foreskin ever again.

That I achieved, my penis doesn’t smell or look infected, it’s actually more better looking, I’m just nervous about the scar line its left that won’t soften and go away, abd the fact that I’ve lost a little sensitivity. But overall its not worse than having that nasty foreskin

Hi Mam, Yes, you've lost sensitivity and your sex drive will be lowered if every encounter ends badly. If it's great your brain is horny for the next one, if it's bad your brain thinks why bother. I also know from experience that not getting hard is a vicious circle too. Also, there are lots of ways to be turned on, not just rubbing the head of your dick. Sounds to me like a lot of these are one night stands not a relationship? Always under pressure with casual sex, not with a longer term partner. To get yourself going try viagra (not just for older guys!) which should bring you some successes to rewire your brain. Nothing succeeds like success. Sorry if this sounds like a load of psycho babble but a HUGE amount of sex is psychological. It's 90% imagination 10% friction!

Is it keloid scarring?

Keloid is generally raised and look like the area is a bit inflated.

What did your doctor say about the scar?

How long did you have balanitis for and what treatments did you try?

Did you have a low cut with your frenelum removed? All you can do is moisturize it, use some sort of man hood device that covers your glans or try manual restoring. I've also lost basically all sensation. Sex used to feel amazing but now it's not even pleasurable.
