I got circumcised 7 months ago and I still have swelling in the back of the head. I went and see my doctor and he really discouraged me by not really caring, he said it could go away or could stay like that forever I don’t know.
Has anyone had this 7 months later ? What can I do please help...is this lymphatic ? Or did he leave too much foreskin.
Thank you.

Hi I am sorry to hear you are going through this. Swellings have been known to persist in some up till a year or so. If you look around the forum there are similar posts actually. I feel that it will go away with time and nothing else is required. Sorry Abt your doc discouraging you. Its either fluid or soft tissue. If it's fluid you can try keeping your penis pointed towards your umbilicus and see if it subsides over time. If its soft tissue , only time might be the answer. All the best !
I do not think that your doctor did not care. In his view time is a healer. That may not be what you wanted to hear but it is often true. We have had guys who have still had swelling issues at a year! Circumcision is like most other surgeries - it comes with no guarantees about time of healing nor does it always come without things (risks) we might not want. Take care.
The underside always takes longer to heal. Your frenulum was removed (which will result in a neater appearance) and that Process does cause trauma to your penis. You may just need to wait a while longer.
Im in the same situation like you it has taken too long to completely go away, but honestly speaking its slowly going away,l think you need not to worry too much unless if you still having too much pain.with time it will go away, just avoid mustabating and too much erection as this will slow down healing.stay positive bro and good lucky
In my case it has become like rock solid stone. Very similar swelling as yourself under penis head. I had surgery done 1 month back. How is your situation now. Is it resolved or still have swelling under the penis head.
