Painful erections. How long?

Hi,

I’m 10 days post-op and I’m getting painful erections. Everything feels very tight. Still got dissolvable stitches in. Healing is going really good. My cut is high. How long will this take to subside?

Hey lufc88

Use some cold packs through cloth or underwear to hold back stimulating those night erections. Yes they hurt and can last a long time. Jump in the shower with some hot water if you got to get it down. The last thing you want is an open stitch or a tear from stimulation in a hard erection. You will probably lose some sleep until around the 3-4 week. Here to help. And It will get better.
