Hi, There is a simple solution when the wound open, place steri strips after applying an antiseptic and thoroughly dried with a sterile compress. Do not touch the Strips until they fall alone, make a bandage over them with a sterile compress.

At this moment i apply only ointment and put guaze and wrap but tomorrow i will buy after my work how many hours the steri strips by its own to fall because the doctor says me i will apply the ointment two times a day morning and night

you can heal as directed by your doctor but you will have a large, thick scar. With steri strips that bring the skin close together, they will stay for about 5 days, if it is not completely healed you can put new one after they fall.

you normally take showers with the strips, if they come off you immediately place new ones. dry well with a sterile compress after your shower and make a new dressing. Everything should heal quickly.

I had something similar happen to me also. It’s a simple fix and I know how ur feeling but in couple months it will be all over and you will get back to normal, no need to stress out. For me it was a slow process but it’s been 2.5 months and I’m better now. Use those strips

Mine opened on the first couple of days and it took about just on two weeks to heal shut, and it did take a while at the start, but you will start to see the two ends start to close up towards each other and the wound will get smaller and smaller.

go back to your surgeon as soon as possible and ask what to do then you can suggest to re sticth your open wound,

I am at 21 day and similar issue .. Would is open and yellow lymph stuff inside.. Applying betadine cream and bandage everyday.. Tough time.. Hoping it ends soon.. Wondering how effective steri strips are
