You're going through the same thing many people and I did... as a minor you should really talk to your parents about this, I know, it took me 3 years to find the confidence to tell them but there is NOTHING to feel embarrassed about.

When I will have Male kids I will check them periodically. If by the age of 12/13 I don't see their skin retracting, I will get them circumcised. I should've been thinking of playing with my friends at that age, not having to worry about my penis...

If you need a person to talk to, feel free to send me a message!

I have got it checked once and he said i should just wait for puberty and because its been so long and i am 16 i think because of how sevear this case is it may be affecting it. It is my biggest insecurity and i worry about it none stop.

I don't mean to overrule the doctors in anyway but if people turn 13/14, there is 80% of the possibility that the skin can be retractable.

So if an individual says to wait more this is a big risk considering that the sooner your get circumcised the less invasive the operation could be.

Hi mate, I've been through this myself, however not ever educated by my parents on retracting foreskin. Took me till I was 23 to realise that it wasn't normal. It's called phimosis and it means the foreskin won't retract. Definitely get it seen too, it may seem an embarrassing subject but the GP has seen it hundreds of times.

He'll reccommend a steroid cream to help the foreskin open try that first and see if it helps, won't work for everyone.

I was so nervous to go but I'm finally cut and healed and it's changed my life at 24 but I wish I'd got it seen too earlier. I spent so long not being able to enjoy sex as I should out of fear of this. Same as Tegmanc if you have any questions PM me

Hi there

A question comes from me spontaneously and I hope you don't mind me asking: how did you think it was normal?

For example: the way I found out it was when I started watching the first porn videos and that questioned myself "why isn't my penis like anyone else"? But thay obviously happened around 12/13!

in reply toTegmanc

Not a problem for asking, looking back on it, it seems stupid now for me. I remember even from a young age knowing porn wasn't a real indicator of sex and how every man should look. Plus the sex ed we received, even though it was awful here in the UK were told every man is different.

Also not having my dad around meant I never wanted to ask my mum about it due to embarrassment. Plus my first girlfriend never mentioned anything about it so I assumed everything was normal.

Sad state of events but as I grew older and was able to have the courage to visit the GP myself I was able to get diagnosed with Phimosis. I lived in misery but better late than never is my attitude now

Dude, at 16, inability to retract is still somewhat common, and it's easily fixed. Putting the opening under tension for a few minutes, a few times per day will cause the opening to expand, eventually permitting easy and comfortable retraction. Don't rush into surgical intervention when a safe, painless cure is so easy. Everything is explained here: phimosisjourney.com/

If pee comes through, you can stretch. Check out phimocure.net. Flesh tunnels do the stretching for you. The science behind skin expansion is solidly proven and employed by doctors commonly.

Best thing you can do is just tell your mum you have to go and see the doctor as you’ve got a problem with your penis. You probably don’t have to elaborate unless she asks and then you can explain. If you do then she’ll have had sexual partners and should know what you’re talking about. If not, she can look it up for herself.

Then go and see your GP.

Talk to your parents or go alone to your GP.

Get yourself a rubber long tipped ear or baby syringe and a bottle of baby or coconut oil. Fill the syringe with warm (not hot) oil. GENTLY insert it into the opening of your foreskin and work it around your glans and go as deep as you can around without pain. Moisten the outside of your penis with the warm oil.

Now gently start masterbating pulling the skin from the tip back to the base. Do this until you feel a little tension. Slowly increase the distance and the speed of the pulling back and forth. Be gentle but firm, since you don't want to tear the skin.

In time things will tend to loosen up. It may take anywhere from a few months to years depending on your persistance.

Once it loosens up enough to retract fully, you can maintain it by doing this on a monthly or bimonthly basis.

Good luck to you and remember patience and persistance is the key.

Interesting technique. Sounds feasible.

Ridiculous, it is with these advices that the too tight skin will manage to pass the glans by forcing and will cause a paraphimosis, it is necessary to speak about it to your parents and to ask the opinion of your doctor!

Your doctor can give you a cortisone cream and follow the progress.

Don't be embarrassed to tell your parents and your doctor about this problem, it happens to a lot of men around the world 😉

Hey I have the same problem, like exact same, I cant retract over the tip at all, have you done anything to fix it

This occurs when the glans and the foreskin are inflamed. This inflammation of both foreskin and glans make the foreskin tighter. Although a yeast infection known as candidiasis is often to blame, bacterial or other types of infections can also cause balanoposthitis.
