So my foreskin is rather tight. When I’m soft I can pull it back with ease but when I’m erect I struggle to move it at all.
What would you recommend ?
I’m 19 btw if that makes any difference

Hi Man, you have phimosis it can be quite painful having sex or even to masturbating but you can retract when you are flaccid which some guys can't even do that. have you tried stretching the foreskin it can take some time but it is worth a try. try using your fingers to stretch it several times a day but don't overdo it or you could cause scarring and it is probably easier after a warm shower and use some lube. It could take months to get a good result if that doesn't help then a visit to your GP then they might prescribed some steroid creams which over a short period of time can really help to soften the skin. After that then you are looking at a circumcision which would solve your problem but that is entirely your decision. Hope this helps in some way I'm sure there will be other guys with more advice for you.
Where can I find stretching techniques ???
Hi Man, you can try to do some stretching with your fingers you can try it like nowhard has suggested below. Or If you are able when you are soft to insert two fingers into the opening of your foreskin, use some oil or lube and gently stretch outwards with your two hands pulling apart and and hold in that position do this several times and during the day also if you can. When you are hard you can pull the foreskin down as far as you are able to bear and hold in that position and release do this repeatedly. eventually overtime you should see an improvement but it does take a long time don't overdo it either you don't want to cause scarring a little tears which would make things worse for you. if there is no improvement go to your GP and he may give you some steroid cream over short period or they might refer you to a urologist. it might be no harm to have things check anyway with your GP for any underlying cause of the phimosis. Do you think your frenulum might be tight this can cause tightness as well. Hope this helps, let us know how you get on, good luck🙂
Does your glans curve? You also may have a short or tight frenulum.
Actually it is common in uncircumcised men. I would recommend if you not think of getting circumcision, you have to use some sort of steroid and need to stretch it. What I would say is most men end up with failure in this as it consumes time as well as no difference at all. At last, they end up getting circumcised. If you think you don't want to waste your time on stretching it and money, better go for circumcision don't worry your sexual pleasure won't decrease but will enhance more compare with your foreskin. I'm telling it as a young adult like you( at 21 years old, last year.) who undergone circumcision voluntarily for a cosmetic reason( yes I have no problem with my foreskin, I even love to masturbate or play using it but I did circumcision as it gives you a neat look as well as increases your sexual pleasure overall. ) cheers buddy.
At 19vyou would be best getting circumcision and enjoying masterbation and sex as often as u can without pain and tightness been there at your age and resulted with stickin dick that I could not wash my bellend etc neverlooked back check my post and see circusize wise don't waste time in discomfort and most girls like sucking a cleaner non cheese knob so u will gain more blow jobs in life bonus lol
You should seek advice of your GP. You’re able to retract some of the time so your situation ought to be curable with some patience and perseverance. More severe cases can not retract at all and usually end up having surgery to resolve. If foreskin is otherwise healthy then stretching may work in your case and worth a trial, I understand the medical profession deem three months is sufficient to see progress.
The process is indeed assisted by short period of applying a topical steroid, which is normally only available on prescription (again see GP). I’ve seen doctors warn against stretching without using steroid cream first as it can cause damage or be a painful waste of time.
Be aware there are a number of different steroid creams and strengths so don’t be tempted to try the out of date tube in the bathroom cabinet someone had five years ago for acne or whatever.
Many trying to be helpful will throw in the steroid cream ‘silver bullet’ cure without due consideration for what damage could be done by wrong use or dosage. For example Dermovate is very strong and one of the first things it says on it’s PIL is “do not apply to the genital area” but a doctor may say it’s OK for a few days or weeks (I had it for balanitis).
Yes definitely try stretching first then move on to steroid creams if needed. Do Not pierce with pin as someone suggested !
Hi, the previous reply is right on. I had a tight foreskin for 2 and 1/2 years and consistent stretching really helped. Check out tightforeskinnomore.com, or check eBay for Phimosis Rings. Good luck, oh Yes, Wikipedia has a good visual summary of the basic stretching techniques, if you don’t want to buy anything.
