I recently got circumcised a week ago today (Feb 7) and have a couple questions. My swelling hasn’t gone down and i wonder if it’s because of the stitches? Or something else. I am actually experiencing more pain than I did the first couple of days of surgery. My thoughts could be the healing process? The fact that maybe the incision line has closed and the scar line is sensitive at the moment? My biggest worry is the swelling, the right side below my head sticks out a lot more than me left. Is this normal? Does it look like normal after a week of healing? I’d be so content with answers. Thanks.

The swelling is caused by build up of fluid and you ought to be keeping your penis pointing upwards as much as possible to enable it to drain assisted by gravity. Before the incision line closed it was able to drain itself. It’s a normal reaction and in your instance doesn’t look red or angry so otherwise looks fine.
mine was like that too. you may have swelling in one area but not in another. normal healing process. looks like you got a very nice circumcision.
