6 days post op leaking yellow fluid on circumcision

i got circumcised last Wednesday and since Saturday morning I started leaking yellow fluid . It's only where my frenulum was. It doesn't have any odor, it's not hurting or it's red and the swelling has gone down. Anyone that has experienced this ?

This sounds like lymph fluid from the body's lymphatic system.It's a common reaction to the surgery as other guys here will agree who have been circumcised. It can take a few weeks to dry up from what I've heard.

We usually don't see or take much notice of the lymphatic system but as Dr Google says it's "part of the immune system and complementary to the circulatory system", running throughout the body.

As your surgeon would have advised, if you have a temperature, the wound starts to smell, there's increasing pain or swelling, you need medical help straight away.

I had this issue too. It defo goes away after a couple of week. I am on month 5 of recovery feel to reach out if you need anything

Hi Lee, are you still recovering after 5 months?I am in week 3 now and thought I'd be mostly recovered by week 6.

my doc said 6 weeks till I could have sex and it could take up to a year for it be completely healed. Like the redness of the scar to go away.

Was also told to use lube while having sex. To stop friction.

Also only have sec when you feel your ready. I had sex on week 8. As it was too sore.

hi. Yes. I had this. It's normal. Mine wept for some time. If there's no smell then it's not an infection.

Hi bro, is your sensitivity now better I.e. do your glans still hurt when you dry with a towel? I am using vasaline around the head do you recommend any oils as I am half way through week 8 and my head is still sensitive. I am still wearing tight briefs to reduce friction.

Hey bro. It's a bit better. Still have to be gentle with towel. It seems to be around the corona not do much the tip now. I use bio oil which is supposed to help. Shop with scars. However, I am very pleased with how it looks at 11 weeks bits healed really nicely.

Thanks for the advice bro. That's good your sensitivity is abit better. I will try start using bio oil from now. I am getting some nerve pain from my glans when I pee which started few days ago, it's not constant pain but on/off. Did you experience this? Thanks

Yes I had that. Still do a bit sometimes but nothing major. It's a long process but worth it in the end!

Hi, I experienced something similar my doctor said the fluid leaking was called granulation tissue. It stopped after few weeks once it healed.

So far so good. I've been 16 days post op and the yellow fluid stopped 3 days after I posted this. Still a bit sore, And the area were my frenulum is has been healing pretty slow. But it's only been 2 weeks so im not really stressing about it. I still got 4 stitches left. Nightly erections don't hurt as much i'm only waking up like ones a night as before i was waking up 5 times. I work in the pipeline (oil fields) so i'm still putting a gauze on it. Since i'm walking a lot outside.

Yeah okay mate, I’m 12 days post op and still dealing with some discharge. Yeah I’m a chippy by trade and work outside in 35 degrees plus so been quite hesitant about going back to work. How have you found it going back?
