I'm 32, now cut for a year and a half. Got to the point where I couldn't retract whilst flaccid or erect. As Liverpoolted said, my only regret is not doing it years before.
Hi B9bby, I suffered from phimosis for far too long and put it off for years, got the op done 6 weeks ago now and I 100% regret I didn`t get it done many many years ago, maybe luckily didn`t have any major problems in these 6 weeks, go for it mate!
Please see your doctor for next steps in your particular situation. Not every guy's phimosis is the same!
You are probably going to get lots of replies from people telling you that circumcision is the work of the devil and others that it will be the best thing ever !
Well we all different and it effects us all differently.
I had my Circ' just over three years ago age 52 due to Zoon's Balantitis.
Prior to that, my foreskin was tight but caused little problem for me.
Sex and masturbation where not a problem, nor was wearing a condom or keeping clean.
Occasionally my foreskin would pull back during sex it felt tight and a little painful at first but I was able to ease it back up.
I did see my Doc' when in my thirties to ask did I need Surgery, he said if I could pull back even with some pain then surgery is not recommended.
I did try stretching, it never completely 'cured' me but it helped.
Now I am circumcised I do not regret it as it was needed but given a real choice I preferred life with.
So my advice would be to try stretching, use steroid creams if necessary.
Do what best for you, but once it gone, it gone...
Uncut here and will fight to keep my foreskin. I am lucky and have never had any problems with retract ion. I feel like being uncut makes one of the lucky ones.
Some people seem to be able to stretch, some opt for a partial cut and some full. It's up to you but I would recommend the least invasive method first.
I had the same problem which developed suddenly last summer after starting a new med for diabetis and creams did not help. I developed balantinitis that did not resolve. At 70, I was circumcised and have been problem free since. Most pleased with the outcome.
