A number of members say they are health professionals. We really appreciate your interest. But be aware that this is a forum for peer-to-peer support. We do not replicate the doctor-patient relationship. So please do not choose a user name that implies you are a medically-qualified or invite members to contact you as a health professional. You can participate on the same basis as anyone else and we welcome that but please respect our peer-to-peer nature.

Are you a health professional?
I have a lot of wound experience as RN, Open chest wounds, deep gunshots, open C-Sections and yes I took care of a man with penectomy from cancer. I will not reference them, so how can I use my knowledge professionally with wounds and my own personal experience with adult circumcision respectfully to offer support-thank you
As we say, Lamarly, this is peer to peer. If you're a health professional wanting to act as such, this is not the forum.
Thank you. I will try and keep only my own personal experience and try to provide support, however aside from personal it has that relevant history which I will try not to bring up-I am not a Dr-but experiences as stated in deep large wounds & healing of them. Thank You for getting back to me. My personal experience is still relevant to helping young or older men-
Again I am trying to bring up my own experience and stay away from other professional experiences
I was an LPN then RN, my whole career. Should I remove that title? I have tried to offer support and guidance per guidelines. I do not need not want to view any photos, not allowed here which is a good thing. I have a good image in my head of the wound. Since you are a moderator I can tell you I have taken care of man with penile cancer, these are facts. I still have an active license but cannot practice due to own heath problems-thank you
I am also a medical professional and I agree...this is a peer to peer, there things on here in other forums that I've learned or never spoken to anyone about, I'm glad and pleased this is an open channel for people to discuss from mental health to ingrown nails. Thank you.
