White patch penis
Need more details about the patch mate. It's time of appearance , where it is , size of it , any associated symptoms or progression like itching etc. Also would be wise to contact the clinic and this time meet a doctor so that he can diagnose it better. All the best !
Yeah I have an appointment next Thursday. I thought I would be able to add a photo but doesn’t allow its on my penis head near the glands
If it's on the glans and it's symptommatic then maybe urgent care is not needed. If it's progressing and associated with other symptoms , best to not wait and get to the clinic. White patches can actually be caused by many things. Till you do meet the doc , keep the area dry and clean. Don't scratch or attempt to peel the patch. Hope you get a good consult !
Can you define symptomatic? Lol
Any other changes or problems that could be a potential presentation of an underlying medical condition . few symptoms are like itchiness , pain , discharge , burning sensation etc.
My symptoms can be seen on this patient.info/forums/discuss...
Hi it could be a fungal yeast infection. but you need to have it checked with your doctor I don't think E45 cream will help much
Does it look like what you would expect to see for cancer or LS?
Hi yeah best to have it checked with your doctor there can be several conditions that cause you're symptoms.
Hi , Hope your situation has improved or resolved. At some point in time my scenario was similar. Although the soap supplement Hydromol was good but didn't solve the problem. I had to consult a Dermatologist ( Skin specialist) outside UK, who correctly diagnosed it as 'Lichen Planus of Glans Penis'. Applying the prescribed ointment on the specific spots for 2 to 3 weeks ( not more) cleared fully as expected with pigmentation (Dark spots), which is now getting back normal. This is available only on prescription. It should be prescribed by Skin specialist. Do NOT continue beyond 3 weeks.
So If your situation hasnt improved, you should speak with a Dermatologist ( Skin specialist).
Dont hesitate to reach out to a Dermatologist asap and get the issue diagnosed. Just because it is in a private part, it wouldn't be related to GUM clinic related. Hope it helps.
