3 wks post circumcision

I got circumcised 3 weeks and was wondering how does it take for the swelling to go down and what can I do to lessen the swelling and how long did it take for some of you to return to work.

I am at weeks 5 and I continue to have the swelling. I reduced it maintaining it upwards, using gentalyn pomata and making meaneuvers but it is still here...... I read about people that had it for months or year or get reoperated. I am so scared too.

How were you to keep it upwards? I'm trying this using boxers but it keeps hanging down

I use 1 piece of gauze (very big) folded in half that i put on the pubis. Two pieces of gauze together, folded in half, that I put on the area from the frenulum to the penis base. I push the penis upwords as it would be a sandwich and pull on the slips. This works perfectly when I am stationary. It works quite bad when I walk and then I hold it with the hand or just fix it when I return sitted or layed.

To ease the sensitivity of the frenulum contacting the gauze, I put on it a bit of Luan gel (1%).

The only way to keep the penis upwards wearing boxers is if you tie the penis up with a string.

It is best if you wear kind of snug fitting briefs or a jock strap instead.

Hey mate, Im now on day 14, I was back at work 2 days after being circumcised. Try to keep your dick upright in your pants, tight fitting jocks is the key. Put ice on it as often as you possibly can. I was also instructed to lay on my stomach when ever I can, with your dick upright, this helping with the swelling also. I had very little swelling at all, by day 10 the swelling had gone all together. My after care instructions were very different to what I’ve seen others post but it has definitely worked.
