Post circumcision care

Hi,

Had to have circumcision due to not being able to pee, things havent gone that well and been stuck with an infection which ive had several courses of antibiotics to shift (still not resolved, back to doctors tomorrow).

In the meantime the head of my penis is drying up and just bleeding while it does so, its awful and as its so tender due to the infection any discharge that comes out then cannot be removed without all the skin bleeding (ive tried soaking in salt water but i still cannot remove it without significant pain and bleeding so have cleaned best I can but left the rest...).

Am I meant to be leaving it to really dry out or should I be keeping it moist with something like coconut oil?

Its a question I will ask again at the doctors but I havent found any information on if you should leave the head completely dry or keep it moist with some oil/vasline? I had several adhesions so that was also recovering alongside the actual circumcision so its not been 'normal' in that regard!
