what has caused so much sensitivity

Consult your surgeon. Possibly your frenulum cut area needs some pain reducing cream

Part of your frenulum is still intact. Does your glans curve when erect? It seems that the remaining frenulum is restricting your penis. Also a low and loose circumcision with an incomplete frenulum would probably cause pain because there will be skin movement while having sex, which will put additional pressure on your frenulum considering there is scar tissue that is replaced by the removed tissue of the frenulum. They should have left the frenulum intact or removed it entirely with a looser circumcision. I have a high and tight circumcision and my frenulum wasn’t touched. You may have to have another surgery to either fix the frenulum or completely remove it.

thanks...my glans gets curved when erect. fernulum pulls it down...it means fernulum is not renovef fully...i will go for corrective surgery again..

can you please suggestme on any method or surgery to desensitizing my penis completely and permanently....i hv heard about dorsal nurectomy to partially reduce the sensitivty...any suggestion please...i want my penis to lok like porn stars without any moving skin

At1012 in reply to nishajainvsp

High and tight would be the circumcision of a porn star. No movement when erect. Then the pain is from the frenulum either being to short or to tight or both. If you convert your circumcision to a high and tight with no skin movement while erect, then you can definitely keep your remaining frenulum because without skin movement while erect, your glans will not curve. It’s the motion that is causing the glans to curve, not the shortness or tightness of your remaining frenulum. If you look at my intact frenulum, it looks tight, but it has never given me problems because I have no skin movement while erect. This is why I will probably stop restoring my foreskin soon, because I don’t want to have a problem with my frenulum. I wouldn’t try to desensitize your penis. Just have the surgeon remove shaft skin because with an extremely tight erection, you will need to have the sensitive tissue in order to orgasm. A low and tight circumcision is something you want to avoid. Sensitive tissue combined with no skin movement is the perfect circumcision for you. Let me know what you think?

Hi Bucky85,

I was doing some research and found this sensitive tissue preserving circumcision. Here is the link, I am curious to hear your thoughts on it:

It’s too early for sex. Your scar will feel inflamed for a while. Try a condom. Lots of lube. Never regret circumcision it is a great move. It will heal really nicely be patient

Thanks for giving him the good advice. The intactavists were the first ones here trying to make him feel he did the wrong thing by getting circumcised.

You have asked for opinions here and the flood gates have opened from a group of people with axes to grind. 5 weeks is far too early full stop. You need to let the swelling go down and for the skin to heal. Enjoy foreplay and hentle oral sex before anything too heavy. It will sort itself out and you'll be fine. Go see your doctor if you need advice, and remember this site is an invitation for the odd and wacky to share their irrelevant views.

It will take time. Mine took about 6 months but now great

in reply to Broadbandbill

Did you stop having pain during sex after 6 months?

You want him to say he regrets it, so you can make an example of him, to discourage others from getting circumcised. Typical intactivist tactic.

Here is a very good visual model of the biblical circumcision. The defective part is cut off at the end of the foreskin while preserving all the other tissue. Your circumcision is probably very close to this:

Circedandlovingit profile image
Circedandlovingit in reply to At1012

A little like that, but cut differently. It has to done free style and cut high like mine was, to keep most of the inner foreskin and frenulum.

At1012 profile image
At1012 in reply to Circedandlovingit

If it was done at 8 days old, it would probably end up looking the same as an adult because the synechia would still be intact at 8 days old.

At1012 profile image
At1012 in reply to Circedandlovingit

Also do you know how your doctor did your circumcision because they did a great job on yours and I think it’s a great procedure for preserving the frenulum and inner foreskin? Also when you were uncircumcised, I know that you had a lot of redundant prepuce. Where was your frenulum located While your penis was in its flaccid state? I am trying to figure out how the frenulum could be preserved, if the circumcision is done on an infant?

Circedandlovingit profile image
Circedandlovingit in reply to At1012

It's done free style, also called free hand. I'm not sure if a circumcision on an infant could be done like mine. Infant circumcisions seem to take equal amounts of both inner and outer foreskin. On mine, right where the frenulun ends, a v-cut starts and extends all the way around the penis. I believe I could have more even more of the outer, and some of the shaft skin removed to make it tighter, and still retain the freulum. It's a tricky cut, and nothing like a circumcision done with a ring or clamp.

Interesting, do you have a picture of your ventral side flaccid and erect? It would be great to see it.

I might post a few in the future.

in reply to Circedandlovingit

It would be really good to see your penis. I wasn’t originally going to show any photos of mine but I’m so glad I did. It’s good to show everyone that circumcision can be a success.

It’s ironic, but this technique was very close to the biblical circumcision. Circumcise at the hill of the foreskin, which actually means part or all of the ridge band. At 8 days old the inner lining of the foreskin is still fused to the glans. This natural adhesion would have remained after the biblical circumcision. Here is a great graphical picture difference of the biblical circumcision and modern day circumcision:

Hi, it's only been 5 weeks give it more time it should settle. it could take several months or even up to a year for your scar and skin to feel normal. your glands should lose some sensitivity that would be normal with wearing clothes. you said you have a loose cut with your frenulum intact that can be very sensitive area and after your circumcision it could take some time for it to readjust. and you may have to learn new techniques for yourself and using lots of lube even for vaginal sex.

thanks...how to reduce sensitivity of my penis...i want to desensitize my penis permanently...is there any surgery for this ..i hv heard about dorsal nurectomy in which they destroy the dorsal nerve ..please suggest

MrMac99 profile image
MrMac99 in reply to nishajainvsp

I would give it more time and see how it is in a few months. your frenulum was removed that is a very sensitive area I would let that settle first and see before I would do anymore surgery. to destroy your dorsal nerve might mean that you would lose pleasure as well as feeling. I would be very reluctant to do that you might not be able to orgasm then I would give it more time man.

nishajainvsp profile image
nishajainvsp in reply to MrMac99

i believe that arousal or erection is determined in mind...orgasm may be related to dorsal nerve sensitivity....i m not interested in orgasm....only arousal is enough for me to enjoy my life....

i am afraid that dorsal nurectomy may inhibit erection.....please suggest ur opinion

MrMac99 profile image
MrMac99 in reply to nishajainvsp

Yes I agree with you the mind is the biggest sex organ you have, arousal - erections and even orgasms or all controlled by the mind it has a big influence on all of them.

I would also be very afraid that the dorsal nurectomy would inhibit your erections☹️

As a few here have said, give it time. I think you would be sad if you lost all sensitivity. Let it settle down.

This was good, now the challenge is to get a whole bunch of US Doctors educated on this procedure. Many will be far to arrogant to change their methods.

At1012 profile image
At1012 in reply to richlandfarmboy

If the doctors truly had the patients best interest in mind, they would be doing research on the different components of an uncircumcised penis. The frenulum should not be removed as it is a very important component of the penis. It prevents a very common complication known as meatal stenosis. It also helps a man obtain an erection. Removing the tip of the foreskin prevents any occurrence of phimosis and Para-phimosis. Preserving the synechia until it naturally dissolves, will help prevent infections. What’s so sad is that, this has nothing to do with religion because the original biblical circumcision would have actually helped men rather than hurt them. It was meant as a benefit. I am currently restoring my foreskin.

Hello bro, first of all, congrats that you have decided for your enhanced sexual life with circumcision. Yet it's common as you are newly circumcised. No need to worry about it at all. Post-circumcision is where men develop new skin buds around his circumcised line yet some men also will feel oversensitive because you're circumcised as an adult man who lived well with your foreskin for almost from your birth until the age were you have sexual intercourse. So it will definitely feel uncomfortable sometimes without foreskin because of your glans now is a bare tip without an extra piece of skin. So yeah be patient for your sexual tool to adopt the new outcome of your post-circumcision. Note: I'm too done circumcision for cosmetic reason. So I would suggest making desensitized your penis always rub the tip of your glans so that it will soon become normal yet avoid swift ejaculation. I do not encourage masturbation but for your condition masturbate rubbing your tip with lube or coconut oil so that it will normalize your glans. Soon you will figure out sex without a foreskin is an amazing thing. Cheers bro. At last but not least, I'm not against foreskin neither pro- circumcision but this reply is solely from my own sexual experience before and after the foreskin removal.

thank u for your reply...mine is low and loose cut...i hv decided to go for another surgery to make it tight and high...at present my penis head is not fully exposed....do u hv any idea about any surgery to desensitize the penis permanently...

in reply to nishajainvsp

Go for it men. But surgery to desensitization is not a good option as it will give problem in erections. Better for another circumcision but leave your glans to desensitized itself( may be wrap your glans with several pieces of cloths or let it friction with your clothes more often) bro. Do edge as much as you can.

Bro it is not a problem

just give it some more time to be normal like before

and i must tell you 2-3 times even after conplete healing you will have bit of discomfort while having sex

but after that it will be fine

You really know how to make a guy feel good about his circumcision.

But you had the ridge band removed, and it increased sensation for you?

Circedandlovingit profile image
Circedandlovingit in reply to At1012

Yes, a big improvement for me. The only thing the bands did was get in the way, and cause the shaft skin to bunch up at the base of the penis during sex,

At1012 profile image
At1012 in reply to Circedandlovingit

Very interesting extended analysis, it sounds like it would be irritating to have the bands bunch up at the base of your penis. What’s interesting is that, if it bunches up at the base of your penis, then it would seal off the vagina? I wonder if this mechanism could prevent slipping out of the vagina lol?

Circedandlovingit profile image
Circedandlovingit in reply to At1012

The bands don't bunch up at the base of the penis because they don't reach that far. What happens is that they push the the shaft skin to bunch up. All this skin has to go somewhere. A certain amount is fine, but when there is too much, it causes problems and gets in the way. I have some skin left since my circumcision, as it was loosely done. I do like getting closer to pulling out since having less skin there. Before I would always want to stay in very deep, so as to force the skin to stay retracted. I didn't like the foreskin covering the glans so much while in a vagina.

At1012 profile image
At1012 in reply to Circedandlovingit

Very interesting analysis. You had a lot of redundant prepuce, so I could see the extra skin at the base of the penis causing some irritation on the spermatic chords? But I am glad that your problem was solved. Also what people need to realize is that there are other parts of the body that can contribute to a significantly enhanced sexual experience for a man even if they were poorly circumcised. It’s important for men to look beyond their penis to find other erroneous zones.

At1012 profile image
At1012

The ridged band sensation is similar to the palm of your hand? That’s what I heard. Also I think I have part of my ridge band left. The reason I say this is because I have a record of having sex 7 times in 7 hours with a woman. What’s interesting is that inside the vagina without a condom, it made a big difference, but I sure think that my frenulum and my remnant of the ridge band made all the difference as well. I just don’t have skin movement.

At1012 profile image
At1012

The ridge band is mucosa?

At1012 profile image
At1012

If they cut off the foreskin without breaking the adhesions, would it be possible to have part of the ridge band remaining?

At1012 profile image
At1012

I agree it is very unlikely. I have a lot of ridged mucosa on the ventral side of my penis. I think that I am a rare case.

At1012 profile image
At1012

Can you post your uncircumcised penis in this forum. I want to see what your ridge band looks like. Also the info was very informative because it shows that the frenulum and ridge band is really a continuous structure. In the biblical circumcision, I don’t think the ridged mucosa is removed. Look at the great model of the biblical circumcision. Wouldn’t all the mucosa be fused to the glans. If this were the case, then the ridged mucosa would be preserved as long as the circumcisio does not go further than the biblical circumcision

in reply to At1012

Yes Bucky85, I’m also curious to see what your ridged band looks like. :)

Yes! I love everything about it, and like I've said before, sex is awesome. I don't notice any loss at all from the bands being removed. They're far from being the best part of the penis. What I do notice is an extreme increase in the amount of sensitivity and pleasure, coming from the Corpus cavemosum, the Corpus sponglosum, and the glans since being circumcised.

Never mind cutting and pasting everything and posting links anyone could find for themselves, what’s *your* personal experience Bucky85?
