Really worried about sores on my penis?? Not sure if it’s nothing??

Hi.

I’m currently living overseas in Greece for 6 months and have developed these sores on my penis shaft. They are painless, and often not itchy. I am feeling slightly concerned as I don’t know what the exact cause of them are.

I seen the dermatologist here who wasn’t exactly sure what it was and prescribed me some topical cream. I’ve been using this for 5 days and so far it isn’t working.

By the looks of things from Google it doesn’t seem like an STI. But I am starting to get worried as they’ve been there for nearly 3 weeks. If anybody has had experience with this before or could give advice it would be appreciated! Thank you

It could very well be genital herpes. Valtrex is a great treatment, but a doctor has to prescribe it and confirm that you have genital herpes first. Do you have discomfort or pain from the sores? Also I would get a full panel of STD tests.

No discomfort or pain from them what so ever, they are just kind of there with no adverse affect!

It could be inflammation of the foreskin. I would try coconut oil and see if that works.
