Anyone have blood in their semen? I’m 49 years old and for some reason I have heavy red bloom instead of semen. Doctor says it’s normal, went away for almost 6 months but after having inguinal hernia repaired it started bleeding again.
Contacted doctor and he said it’s normal and it’s benign.
Very frustrating and worrisome.

Hi, I had the same problem. I Went to a clinic for an STD test years ago. The nurse inserted a cotton swab deep into my urethra. Very painful. I urinated blood for two weeks.
It almost feels like there is a blockage and semen can’t fully come out but this amount of blood just doesn’t seam normal to me.
Hi jdouk, I too had blood in my semen and it was from the prostate. I took weeks to heal and longer to get into a urologist. within a year I had prostate surgery do to enlargement. 2-1/2 weeks later my prostate self destructed and was back in the hospital and emergency surgery. It was a bad one. I urge you to have a urologist check you out. This could be more than just a leaking vein. I was 55 when all this went down. Fortunately, no cancer.
Had my prostate checked doc said it was fine.
I had blood in my semen. It stopped when I stopped using a metal flask with hot tea I purchased on Ali Express. I suspect there was some sort of residue coming off the flask. Quite the relief to have clean white semen back.
