Perimenopause concerns

I started experiencing perimenopause symptoms around the time I turned 40. I noticed all the "mental things" first ( i.e. intense anxiety, extreme mood swings, easily angered, excessive crying, "brain fog" etc.) then came all the "weird things" ( i.e. ringing in ears, random itchy skin...) but the MAIN ISSUE that I'm currently facing is chronic, reoccurring yeast infections. It came as such a HUGE shock because I can remember only getting ONE throughout my entire life. I never knew that hormonal fluctuations could be the cause. Every month for the past year, either before or after my period, I inevitably end up with yet another yeast infection. I have tried EVERY at home treatment / remedy since I don't have health insurance. I don't know what to do anymore since I can't see a doctor ( & I know a prescription for Diflucan could help or even HRT / estrogen cream ) Has anyone else had experience dealing with yeast infections that are caused by hormonal fluctuations? Any advice? Does this ever stop? I didn't even know what was happening to my body at first because I've NEVER had issues with getting yeast infections before

Check it isn't actually lichen sclerosis. My "thrush" was misdiagnosed for many years with disastrous results 😏

Thank you for the information.... Now I'm a little paranoid 😬 I'm really sorry about your experience. It's unfortunate ( & unacceptable ) how many "women's issues" are overlooked or misdiagnosed.
