Hi I’ve currently started using the patches & messed it up. So I’m having to wait for my next batch to fix it. I think my hormones are all over the place as I’m struggling communicating with everyone & anxious about everything. Can anyone relate?

I’ve got 2 different types. Was supposed to take them on alternative weeks. 2 weeks on 1 & 2 weeks on the other.

Oh ok, I found the patches irritated my skin but it can be a bit confusing when to change it etc I set up reminders on my phone to help me 🙈😂

Do you stick the patches on a different area? I put them on my rear cheeks & change sides 😂 had them fallen off too so will need some special tape. Have you felt better since being on them?

I use tattoo covers, you can get them on Amazon, they seem to work pretty well.

To be menopausal you need to have had your last period 12 months ago or longer. Even spotting is classed as peri menopause. Either way, we are not prepared for this. The chances that occur are hormonal. As a peri menopausal woman, I was bleeding very frequently and was given the mirina coil. This helped me, but I then developed many of your symptoms. My GP put me on Evoril Conti Patches when my very hot flushes and burning feet began. The combination seemed to make me feel great after a very short while.

If you’re doctor fails to tell you the risks of the HRT patches, then you can and should ask. There’s an increased risk of breast cancer in women who take HRT after a year. Every year after, if you are on both, please try the oestrogen only patch, because if you HRT patches it you do have a coil. Tho recommended patch for women be given to the oestrogen only patch.

Hi my doctor didn't brief me with the risks but I guess most medications comes with a slight risk. She was more concerned with my blood pressure which was reasonably high. I'm not on the coil. Just on the patches which are Evorel Sequi patches (estradiol & estradiol/norethisterone). Thanks for the info though.
