I have headaches every morning had had them for ages now. It goes very soon after l get up. The doctors just give me tablets for it. I have had blood tests but nothing has been found to cause them. I have hypothyroidism and have recently passed menopause. I never had them before at all. Can menopause or hypothyroidism cause headaches. I also have prolaspe and wear a ring pessary. I am waiting to see a endocrinologist been waiting ages. The headache also seems to affect my whole body with a tummy and back ache and a sort of rushing sensation that makes me hear a pulse like throbbing l grind my teeth at night because of this. Anyone else get this please respond to meThankyou

🤔 I have Vestibular issues, disorientation when sitting upright in the morning, BPPV turning over in bed..Some people with Vestibular problems experience strange noises in their ears.

hi poppycat , I’ve been having headaches every morning too on waking , it really affects my whole day . I also grind my teeth at night . Have you seen your dentist about getting a mouth guard ? . I have one as apparently teeth grinding is a cause of headaches , but then again so is menopause . Hope you get some relief from this soon .. take care x

Hello Catty thankyou for your reply. I love cats guessing you do too. Actually my two moggies have passed on now both elderly. Perhaps l need another to calm me. They did sleep with us. I never had trouble when l had them.I have considered a mouth guard but decided it would make sleeping worse due to me having a bad gag reflex whenever l have had a mould taken at the dentist do embarrassing. The dentist told me about my grinding and biting my cheeks so now I'm aware of it l deliberately try not to and my inner cheeks have healed so l think that bit has stopped. I have ceased alcohol almost altogether that helps as wine just gives me a headache now. I hope our headaches are just menopause l did worry it was something more sinister but l expect we are both ok. Keep in touch l also tried diet changes but still headaches. I dont get them during the day thankfully. I get a wierd throbbing period type feeling with the headaches do you? All the best to you

hi poppycat , yes I’ve had a Persian cat many years ago now lol . I know what you mean about the moulds 🤮. It was my teeth that were suffering , the grinding was wearing my fillings down and giving me bad headaches when I woke up . I still get headaches sometimes which I’m inclined to think are hormone related as it comes with other symptoms too , take care and hope those headaches disappear asap ! X
