Hi all wonder if anyone can help. I started HRT last June. I’d been taking the progesterone only pill cerazette for years, so at age 53 I had not had a period for over 10 yrs. GP said to use the utrogestan 100mg every night. Stopped taking the cerazette. In September I started with some light spotting, same in October and November but all over the place (not like a period). In December it went on for ages so Gp said try using cerazette again - bleeding did stop but felt bloated and not great so stopped it after 2 months , then had what I presume was a withdrawl bleed. Don’t know whether to try the 200mg for the 12 days a month to see if it limits the spotting to a particular week or whether to try the 100mg every night again in the hope it was purely teething problems with starting the HRT - anyone else had similar issues?
