Hi katiesails, I also have a mirena (1st at 40, 2nd at 45) for contraception and heavy, painful periods. I started on hrt earlier this year.
I think that technically the mirena shouldn't affect your symptoms because it is delivering synthetic progesterone at fairly low levels and all the stuff I've read about menopausal symptoms is about low oestrogen (and maybe testosterone).
A couple of things though, the mirena completely stopped my menstrual bleeding so I suppose I'm just going to have to guess when I'm actually post menopause. One of the things that prompted me to ask for HRT was that I started to get some light bleeding and PMS. Now that I'm on HRT I wonder whether some of the things that I thought were side effects from the mirena (dropping libido and dryness) were actually perimenopause symptoms creeping up on me.
Also having the mirena in place means I can have oestrogen replacement without taking progesterone tablets.
There's quite a bit of good info about menopause on women's health concern

thanks and huge apologies for slow reply. Looks like coil is of no import which is good news.
I've had very very mild Meno symptoms so not going to be going the HRT route.
Just eating differently - which is find until I stray - then paying the price if I have too much chocolate cake or wine. 😂
good luck
