Has anyone else suffered from travel sickness after having meningitis? More noticeable in car, than trains....

Post-Meningitis
Yes I suffer with motion sickness a lot following VM. I’ve always had travel sickness in the car if I sat in the back but now I can’t even sit in the front without throwing up and feeling poorly. I also get the same feeling in supermarkets, shopping centres etc due to the motions around me from people moving. I used to be able to run in a group and now I have to run alone because once again having people moving around me, I can’t have anyone running next to me on a treadmill either.
Yes, I came to the conclusion that the brain is too tired to process the fast visual movement, but I'd like to know whether this will ease with time. Does taking travel sickness medication help? I havnt tried it yet.
I can only comment on the one I take and I find it only works because it knocks me to sleep in the car so I’m not aware of anything. Although, this isn’t helpful on a long journey with kids in the back that need your constant attention of asking a question every 5 minutes. I find a lot of tablets available make me sick but this one doesn’t. I just tend to do all the driving which brings on other side affects and I just have to sleep when I arrive at my destination.
Dramamine helped some, the sensation of movement continued for 2 mins after stopping. I agree to the over stimulation causing the nausea, I patched one eye, I wore prism glasses, eye muscles weakened from Vm . I use tinted glasses, pink in fluorescent lighting, brown sunglasses for bright days . I use hiking sticks for confidence walking, sensations give an off balance feeling. I find cloudy days and lower light better. My blood pressure always ran low after VM too low a natrualpath dr prescribed low thyroid 7.5 mg a day even though I tested in range, amazing results I’m driving again after 3 years, balance has greatly improved, visual disturbances not as severe, no more nausea.
Keep reading and trying what u can to help urself. Take care
