Don’t you despise when every day you want to cry thinking it will lift you up, but really it’s only sending you deeper into your depression? I’m not trying to make anyone more depressed than they are.

I have struggled with this for a long time...being a male in the public safety spectrum...it was ingrained in our brains thar emotions are a sign of weakness. I have recently learned through trials and errors that it is ok t o have emotional moments...the trick is not staying in those moments forever. Crying is needed...but as soon as you can wipe those tears and move forward....even if it's a small shuffle

Thanks a lot for showing me a new perspective of this. I haven’t really been able to cry yet, but am trying to get out of my depression. Peace be with you.

And also with you....for so long we have dealt with the stigma that emotions are taboo. That it is bad to admit that we need help and then seek that help...always around if you wanna talk
