Had mdd, gad, and cptsd from constant bullying and unstable family situation, my father was angry and violent.Im 64 now and maybe facing being homeless. I keep getting the urge to run to the woods and let whatever happens ...happen.

Very Depressed
Thank you for sharing. I am wondering why you might be homeless and have you spoken with anyone about this?
Is there a group or a club you can join? Doing something like that will help.
I am so sorry to hear of your severe troubles
I know this is very hard. But start with a call to your landlord. See if he is kind enough to give you a little time. I believe you can retire at 62 although the payment is better if you wait. Look online for help for seniors. It's work, but it will give you less time to think and will get you started down the path to help. I check in daily. I'm here if you need a kick start. Open your windows today. Breathe the fresh air.
If all you can do is one thing today. That in itself is a stride forward.
Do you have a support person you can turn to? Are you in counseling? On medication? I have been diagnosed with all three but only ptsd not cptsd. Hard way to live. Wish you the best. If you ever want to chat...
Lonepain - just so you know, you're not alone. Are there senior services that you can access? Public housing for seniors?
Just came up with an idea - don't know if it will help but please consider giving it a try. Contact the Little Sisters of the Poor (YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE CATHOLIC) at 718-464-1800. Their goal is to provide kindness, nutrition and housing to low income seniors. At the very least, they might give you an idea of who/what organization you can turn to for help.
