Signs of when Med's don't seem to work.

I am still new here, but I was wondering what type of signs anyone saw or felt that made you question yourself to try a different medication? Has anyone thought, I have been on this medication for so long that maybe it is not working.

How did you approach it? Did you have tests run or did someone say something like a friend or doctor? Any thoughts would be appreciated, thank you.

Thank you for your reply. I understand to consult a doctor, but I was wondering how it feels, what the individual notices to question their meds aren't working.

I noticed the calmness I felt within had gone the edgy feelings came back to me sadly still stuck on them but a lower dose now.

In my experience, my Prozac wasn't completely working as it was in the past so I talked with my doctor and she added Wellbutrin so I take both now and it has been very helpful.
