Has anyone tried Mindbloom. I set up my beginning consultation but after filling out forms and getting more information it doesn't look like you will be getting much support if something goes wrong. I'm not feeling confident in this service anymore.

Trying Mindbloom
That is frustrating. I am sorry
Hi, aharmlesspotato! I looked into their therapy services, and was somewhat off put by their high prices. I noticed that after I signed up, but didn't purchase, they sent me an email stating that they'll lower their prices if I sign up "right now", which didn't sit too well with me. On top of that, can definitely see what you're saying about their services not being very supportive throughout the treatment course. It sucks though, considering it would have been so much more accessible.
I found a Reddit thread that might have more information on legitimate ketamine therapy services near you: reddit.com/r/TherapeuticKet...
Hope this helps!
I was told by a Doctor that the Ketamine lozenges can't compare to Ketamine IV Infusions. I also didn't like that they required having a friend or family member with me when I took the lozenges. I don't want a family member in the room with me when I take Ketamine! I have done 15 Ketamine IV treatments and I am sad to report Ketamine does not cure MDD. I only get short term relief. But It's a fantastic high if you can afford it.
It looks like you get even less support than what Mindbloom will give you.
I don't know if my post will be too little too late, but I'll give you my opinion for what it's worth. It's my hope you'll take it for just that, one person's opinion. As for Mindbloom, I personally would pass on them. I don't know where I first heard of them, but it was just last week and I ended up doing a lot of research on them. As with anything you research online, you're going to get both sides of the story, and often it's hard to get to the real truth. From what I gathered, the support you would get while taking the Ketamine would be by text. I just can't see this being very supportive in the case that something would go wrong. We are talking about the human mind here after all. I also came away feeling that this is just another company doing a "money grab" and if I had anything to do with it I'd see they were shut down. I get so tired of companies taking advantage of people that are vulnerable and might be desperate to try anything, all in the name of profit and greed. I know I'm at that point right now. Here is one article I read on Mindbloom: vice.com/en/article/pkpp3k/...
I also read the the Reddit thread that was mentioned in another post. I can tell you that I've done the Ketamine IV treatments and unfortunately they didn't work for me. Thinking back on it, I now feel they might have been more beneficial if some type of therapy would have been provided after each treatment. I can only assume that the IV treatments are much stronger than the oral route provided by Mindbloom, but I certainly know I wouldn't have wanted to be doing the IV treatments alone without anyone keeping an eye on me and my vitals. I'm also glad I had a friend I trusted enough to get me to the treatments and back home, and to stay with me a while afterwards until they knew I was ok. I did have a good experience with them, they just didn't help with my MDD.
Another person mentioned Spravato, which I certainly wouldn't mind trying as my insurance company would help pay for them, but in my case the bigger problem is finding a psychiatrist that would refer me for them. To my understanding the Spravato form of Ketamine is different than the IV treatments.
I hope this may help somewhat, and I hope you find what you need in your search. I would just advise always doing your due diligence in researching and talking to other people about any treatment that may sound promising before spending your money, and especially before entrusting your mental well-being to anyone. I think you've shown that by posting your question here. I wish you the best.
