Hi everyone, my name is Joey and I’m excited to be a part of this group. I’m an older male who has been diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and Inattentive ADHD. Despite my diagnosis, I’m a fun-loving and easy-going person who enjoys spending time outdoors and writing.
I have found that having my dog around provides great companionship and helps me manage my stress, anxiety, and depression. So, dog tales are always a great topic but I'm always open to talk about anything (I have ADHD and love to talk).
I’m looking forward to getting to know new people and sharing our experiences together. I have been a member of other groups in the past and I know I'm not alone with my struggles. Hopefully this group will be a great place to share some thoughts and feelings.

Hi Joey, welcome 🤗. I too was diagnosed with MDD 26 years ago, but I believe my depression is now moderate. I too have some ADHD behaviors but mostly have a hard time switching gears and staying focused. Dogs are awesome for emotional support!!
My name is Donna and I turned 60 in November. I have MDD and GAD. I’ve suffered from depression just about my whole life, but the anxiety part has only been going on for the past 4 years or so.
I have a cat right now but have had dogs, cats, rabbits and parakeets when I was growing up.
