I had a memory reminder from Facebook when I returned from winning the VAC champs on Sunday. 7 years ago to the day I managed to run my first sub 30 minute 5k.

What an incredible journey this is.

Brilliant running RunBrianRun ! 60m looks very short in a video but I guess it doesn’t feel it at that speed!

Do you ever get to do a 5k now?

Thanks Dexy. Yes, It’s the shortest race I think, and yes, it’s all over so quickly with no room for error at all. I don’t run long distances anymore but I do use the rowing machine and cycle at the gym for my warmup.

Better every month thanks Brian 😁, enjoying what I can do, running a little, walking more and twice weekly swimming. Not sure I'll ever get back to where I was but being able to do things makes me very happy
