Went out this morning with the intention of doing a quick 10k for the HU team running World Cup. I must admit I’ve been struggling for motivation with all the races cancelled and the running World Cup is the only interesting thing keeping me going. it was such a lovely day I carried on and did a slow 10mile it was so nice being outside in the crisp morning sun away from the doom and gloom or the current situation.
Hope everyone is ok and my thought are with those of you who are suffering. Hopefully we’ll all look back on this next year with disbelief.
All the best guys 👍😊

A restorative run - the best kind! I'm finding the same thing, the beautiful sunny, blowy weather this weekend is bright, fresh vibrant and clean - in total contrast to everything else. I've discovered a new gratitude for running and riding this weekend too. Here's to lots more enjoyable, restorative runs.
Yes hopefully! I too had a great run this morning. The weather was absolutely stunning. Crisp, sunny and bright. The wind was lovely too.I managed just over 7km.
Let’s hope this weather will last and we will still be able to run outside until told otherwise.
Good run for you Runsome, this year indeed is a once in a century year, the last year there was a world wide pandemic was 1918 due to Spanish Flu, you can read all about that on Wikipedia.
