SHOCK!! 👻 HORROR! 😱 💀🎃 IT’S FIRST OF NOVEMBER ALREADY!!! AND POM-POMS ARE NEEDED!!

It’s November already and our pompoms are probably a bit tired with all the waving this year so far, but we know our pompoms are like us, with lots of va-va-voom and stamina and so they need to be on top form on Sunday for two of our fabulous VRBs.

⭐️ Spookily, both runners are in the same place for their respective races.    CosmicBuffalo is running the Hertfordshire Half Marathon and is keen to “run around some of (his) teenage years.” Sounds as if it could be a lot of fun and we hope many happy memories are abundant for you CB 🤗

⭐️ At the same location and running the Hertfordshire 10K is our very own    linda9389

Despite her hip issue it didn't stop her crossing the finish line of the Royal Victoria HM in Canada last month, so we have everything crossed that the hip behaves on Sunday and she can repeat that success with her usual “can do” style. You’ve got this Linda!

Both races start and finish at the historic and stunning Knebworth House in Stevenage and taking runners around the local rural roads. It promises to be a scenically beautiful route so we hope our runners lap it all up and enjoy every minute 🥰

[Shake-and-run Half Marathon]

good luck CosmicBuffalo (fabulous name, the mental image it conjures up makes me smile every time I read it) and the lovely linda9389 , enjoy yourselves.

I will be trying to do the 10 mile Cotswold Way walk from Horton to Dyrham that was cancelled last week (leader had COVID). I will think of you and other VRBs who are out there this weekend putting one foot in front of the other. Have a great weekend everyone xx
