No guessing what we need to do today! Get those pompoms rockin’ and rollin’ for our epic VRBs who all have 10K races on Sunday.
⭐️ First flurry of support needs to be in Hampshire where Mudita11 will be taking on the “fast, flat course and home of the PB” at the Eastleigh 10K. That’s quite a claim! The course was named in Runners World top ten 10K races in 2019. This year will be the 39th anniversary of the event, so plenty to celebrate!
We’ll be waving our support from start to finish on this one Mudita 🥳
⭐️ From Hampshire to West Sussex next and we find Sandraj39 in her natural habitat of a mainly off-road scenic route for the wonderfully named Mel’s Milers 10K. The course is “fast, mostly flat over pathways, track and trail through the tranquil Sussex countryside”. Some of the route is along the Downs Link and through the Country Park which sounds beautiful.
We know you love your trails Sandra so we’re sure you’ll love this race 🙂
⭐️ The third, and last, of our weekend warriors is misswobble whose race is the Redbrik 10K in the heart of Derbyshire. The route takes in major landmarks such as the town’s famous crooked spire. Starting from Queens Park, through Chesterfield, heading towards Brampton and Ashgate via Chatsworth Road.
We think you might have a few cobbles on this route misswobble so watch those ankles and take extra care!
Good morning Your Highness! I hope that the weather is better for our racers than yesterday’s dank day up here! Everything is waving madly up here; hope you have fabulous days Mudita11 Sandraj39 and misswobble …we are definitely on PB watch!! Go go go………🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
I’d better hold my pom poms tight as it’s going to be a windy one here in the SW by all accounts. I’m not one to let go though, so they’ll be flapping around merrily for you fab running folk this weekend!
Good luck Mudita11 , Sandraj39 and misswobble ! They all sound like great races, hope the weather stays decent for you! I've woken up to sunshine here! 🌞My partner is also running Eastleigh 10k (fundraising for Southampton hospital transplant games team) we've been at the hospital 3 times this week and they care so well for his daughter.
I will look out for you both. My niece who had a liver transplant will be there. She was due to run but has an injury now so will be spectating. She’s in training for the British Transplant Games again. Good luck to Kenny tomorrow xxx
Horrible weather here in ND this morning! Hail currently, high winds and torrential rain 🙄. It’s an improving picture - rain wise at least .
I’m more worried about conditions for the footy this afto 😁⚽️ It’s a crucial match for us. The tension is palpable. It’s keeping my mind off tomorrow. Not even started getting my stuff thought about. I have my number at least 🙂
Good luck everyone! Have fun out there 😀🤗. GO GO GO!
Sorry, bit late but hopefully I’m in time to wave my pom-poms in the direction of Mudita11 , Sandraj39 and misswobble . Have great runs all, and I hope the weather behaves for you 🥳💪🥳💪🥳
