Yes, it’s time to get on the start line for the New Year by telling us all about your January 2023 running events.

Doesn’t matter where you’re running, or how far, nor whether you’re a seasoned competitor or it’s the very first time you’ve entered an organised race. Just let us know your plans and we’ll get your VRBs to give you a fabulous Friday 🎉 POMPOM CHEER! 🎉

All you need to do is reply to this post with the name and date of your event, and include a link to the website if you can.

We’ll then give you a shout-out in the Friday pompom post preceding your race, and your VRBs can check out all the details and cheer you on! 📣🏅

Hi Cmoi, a 10 miler for me on 6th January ( racebest.com/races/xr2fv ) the Temple Newsam Ten (TNT) which has the strapline "Tough Not Timid" ... hmmm ... after an indulgent Xmas break I'm going to find this one quite hard

[Shake-and-run Half Marathon]

I shall be joining Katnap and Tailchaser at the 10K for sausages run at Ilmington this coming Sunday. They mentioned something about a big hill (they have already done it 3 times this season) so I expect that I shall be walking for quite a bit of it. Still sausages for tea can't be bad!!
