Well, well, well! I have been following what everyone’s been up to with great interest. It’s been a tough few weeks what with snow, ice, and rather cold temperatures hasn’t it.
This end I have been dealing with the knock on effects of a twang I sustained in September so on physio advice have been doing 3 x 3k runs a week, weather permitting. But I was a bit naughty this morning and went a little bit further which felt pretty good - no discernible difference with the extra distance so very happy with that 😊. I’ll do a slightly shorter run next time though.
I’ve missed doing those crisp, bright, cold runs, and this morning it was just that! Absolutely stunning in our local water meadows. My physio has given me daily exercises which I think are really helping, and although I moan and groan, my office has moved to the top floor at work, so I must go up and down those blooming stairs about a 100 times a day, and that seems to have really helped with my running too 🤣.
I’m hoping I turned a corner today. Back to the physio on Wednesday to see what he thinks and hopefully an exercise upgrade!
