New trainers ready for races ahead!

I felt like I reached the end of life of my old trainers as one foot felt less supported and I started to get foot pain in the ball of my foot. I've gone for the same brand - asics but the next level up from my old ones. Still less than £100 in a sale but I had to go up a whole size this time instead of just half a size. Did my long run today in them as they felt as comfy on first wearing as the old ones did and glad to report no rubbing! So now I'm ready for the Cheddar 10k and Cardiff half. I wore my ininji toe socks which my daughter always laughs at!

I think they’re pretty similar to yours in terms of cushioning but with extra stability for over pronators like me. I’ve got a bit obsessed with trainers recently and ASICS suit my feet so I’ve got to know a few of them!!

Mine are neutral but the toe box is not as wide as old ones so probably why I needed a size bigger!

Nice CLR! I’m due some new ones too. I’m currently alternating 2 pairs of Brooks and neither shows signs of wear, but they’re way over the recommended mileage.

Which option did you pick for Cheddar? I’m in Winchester Farm and being bussed up. It would be lovely to meet up. 😀

Same! We are hoping to stay in Wells so we don't have to leave here at silly o'clock. It would be great to meet you!
