Took the route I know would be very quiet ( wore my mask and took a detours so as not to pass anyone π·)
But after managing my usual workout yesterday,I decided to go try a run see how I got onπ€πββοΈ
Feeling good I thought I would manage a 5K.. took it quite slow and stopped at 3K for a drink..all okay I thought.. just kept it slow and stopped every couple of K's for drinks and managed to keep it up to make a decent 10K πββοΈ
Ooh it was lovely to be back out.. felt so lucky covid doesn't seem to have taken too much out of me π
Made me appreciate again just how wonderful it is to have running in my life πͺπββοΈπ
Really hope I can get back on form now sooner than I thought π
Stay safe out there πββοΈπββοΈβ€οΈ

Well done to you Caroline on running that 10K while still testing positive for Covid 19, good time as well, 1.16.23, one of the 20/10K runs I have ran since becoming a Graduate10 was on that time as well, I hope soon to restart upping my distance from 5K to 10K before I run the virtual Vitality London 10,000 in May.
Fantastic news and well done on that 10k! πͺπͺ Even with all those breaks, running with a facemask and this being your first run after covid you're way faster than my best 10k π
Well done ππ» listening to your own body and doing what's right for it is key. This will likely aid your overall recovery both physically and mentally. ππ»π«
