Surrounded by run gear and debating whether my new eco vibramโ€™s are too nice to be covered in quokka poo ๐Ÿคฃ

I always think new running shoes are calling out to be dirtied ๐Ÿ˜‚

Enjoy your holiday ๐Ÿ‘’๐Ÿ–

Thanks Irishprincess ๐Ÿฅฐ

My new running trail shoes are packed ready to be completely covered in dirt. Think my new vibrams are too pretty for quokka poo ๐Ÿคฃ

Ooh! KSO Evos. I have about five pairs of those in different colours.

Iโ€™m in love ๐Ÿ˜

Still in awe of you actually running in vibrams although youโ€™re not selling them recently with your black toe nail reports ๐Ÿคฃ

The black toenails are on my little toes. They've not recovered properly since my longer distance runs in April last year. The other toenails are looking more normal.

I did the whole of C25K in KSO Evos, but I'm currently using V-Run (aka Bikila Evo). I may switch back when the weather here improves a bit.

I had no idea what a quokka was so I had to Google it! Have a lovely holiday ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ˜ƒ.

Thanks Frenc ๐Ÿ˜Theyโ€™re very cute. Rottnest Island is my favourite place in the World.

I got my latest pair of pink shoes (cheapest colour) dirty yesterday as I inevitably ended up on the trail whilst wearing them. Absolutely filthy ! I contemplated washing them, or even dyeing them, but after about 10 seconds consideration, thought โ€œto hell with itโ€ ๐Ÿ˜„

Itโ€™s certainly inevitable with running shoes. You will have many happy miles in them ๐Ÿ˜

On the road theyโ€™re dead bouncy but lose their bungee once you hit the dirt ๐Ÿ˜€

I was hard pressed to find clean shoes this morning for my dog walk. I ended up in my ancient RefuseNikes. I wondered why I was skating about a bit. I checked the soles and theyโ€™re absolutely bald ๐Ÿ˜. Time for the bin I think. The tops look so good though. Perhaps I could get some stick-on soles โ˜บ๏ธ

I have been gradually transitioning into two new pairs of shoes since December (can't quite give up my old pair!). The trail shoes have been well and truly muddied as illustrated, the road shoes (which have actually been used more) still look almost pristine.

Patch of thick, oozy mud with a runner's mud-splattered legs and barely visible shoes.

Ha ha great photo ๐Ÿ˜€. Mud, mud glorious mud ๐Ÿ˜ฌ. It makes me laugh when you canโ€™t quite get your grip and you start a strange contortionist dance, arms wheeling, torso moving back and fro as you try and correct yourself to avoid being dumped in the gloop.

My Torins were the worst ๐Ÿ˜

The more dirt the better! At least for trail shoes. My new Speedgoats are covered in mud now. Ah I did not realize these cute fellas were Quokkas.

Iโ€™m in agreement with you on trail shoes. Those Vibrams are more for prancing around in though ๐Ÿคฃ

I saw the new Speedgoats! ๐Ÿฅฐ. Their new road shoe looks lovely too - the Kawana.

The Goats are so grippy in the snow too. And Iโ€™m just winding down my road Mach 4 pair with 1000k on them, so its soon time for a replacement! ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ

I heard talk that the Evo speedgoat is still available to order from Germany

The new Speedgoat will be hugely popular and will sell out fast, so get in quick, apparently
