Surrounded by run gear and debating whether my new eco vibramโs are too nice to be covered in quokka poo ๐คฃ

Packing for our holiday

I always think new running shoes are calling out to be dirtied ๐
Enjoy your holiday ๐๐

Ooh! KSO Evos. I have about five pairs of those in different colours.
Iโm in love ๐
Still in awe of you actually running in vibrams although youโre not selling them recently with your black toe nail reports ๐คฃ
The black toenails are on my little toes. They've not recovered properly since my longer distance runs in April last year. The other toenails are looking more normal.
I did the whole of C25K in KSO Evos, but I'm currently using V-Run (aka Bikila Evo). I may switch back when the weather here improves a bit.

๐๐๐

I had no idea what a quokka was so I had to Google it! Have a lovely holiday ๐๐คฉ๐.

I got my latest pair of pink shoes (cheapest colour) dirty yesterday as I inevitably ended up on the trail whilst wearing them. Absolutely filthy ! I contemplated washing them, or even dyeing them, but after about 10 seconds consideration, thought โto hell with itโ ๐
Itโs certainly inevitable with running shoes. You will have many happy miles in them ๐
On the road theyโre dead bouncy but lose their bungee once you hit the dirt ๐
I was hard pressed to find clean shoes this morning for my dog walk. I ended up in my ancient RefuseNikes. I wondered why I was skating about a bit. I checked the soles and theyโre absolutely bald ๐. Time for the bin I think. The tops look so good though. Perhaps I could get some stick-on soles โบ๏ธ
I have been gradually transitioning into two new pairs of shoes since December (can't quite give up my old pair!). The trail shoes have been well and truly muddied as illustrated, the road shoes (which have actually been used more) still look almost pristine.

The more dirt the better! At least for trail shoes. My new Speedgoats are covered in mud now. Ah I did not realize these cute fellas were Quokkas.
Iโm in agreement with you on trail shoes. Those Vibrams are more for prancing around in though ๐คฃ
I saw the new Speedgoats! ๐ฅฐ. Their new road shoe looks lovely too - the Kawana.
The Goats are so grippy in the snow too. And Iโm just winding down my road Mach 4 pair with 1000k on them, so its soon time for a replacement! ๐

Now there's a nice dilemma to have!
