Was only planning this 10K run for tomorrow, but weather is forecast strong wind 🌬️ and rain 🌧️

So I set out earlier whilst it was still frosty .... Big difference from Tuesdays 10K run.. where my head was boiling..🤣

Was very glad if the hat today!!

I need to find warmer gloves,the new one's I bought still don't keep my hands from nipping..so back to the sports shop at the weekend I think 😄

Reached my 50 Miles in November on this run.. still 5 days left so hoping to get to 100k ..20 more to go 👏🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

I am feeling very well thank you Caroline, I was very happy with my 76th (not) parkrun yesterday, not my usual course around the loch, this time I ran it in the park only a 3 minutes walk from where I live, usually my time for a 5K on that course is around 36 minutes, yesterday I ran it in a time of 33:57.This coming Saturday I hope to be running my 31st official parkrun at Dunfermline, however, the weather forecast is for strong northerly winds with snow showers, I won't be wearing shorts and a T Shirt. 😊

Ha, I DON'T wear tights, I'm going to wear jogging trousers and a thin jumper over a thicker jumper with my 25 T shirt over them with a thick bonnet over my head instead of my usual running cap, if it's icy I won't care a hoot if I run slowly and my time is +40 minutes, I don't want to fall, I may wear my trail running shoes, not my blue running ones.

I’ve got some Drifit Nike trousers which are dead thin, and I thought would be freezing, but they’re surprisingly not 🙂. My thin Aldi merino long sleeve is just the job under a jacket etc. It’s all about Layers ! 😀👍

Costco had some good ones from Head a few weeks ago. I haven't been in for a few weeks, so don't know if they still have them. If you know someone with a card they will be able to sneak you in as a guest.

I found these on eBay for a tenner.. looked at reviews and they sound good, lots mention the same were available at Costco,wonder if these are the ones you meant Nowster?

Not exactly what I have. Mine are black, dense knit on the outside and a bit fleecy inside.

They're worth a try, though. Looks like someone's getting rid of older stock.
