Well today's run has taken me over 1000K in my year since graduating π
I recon that's not bad going, π
Today's run was a very muddy 10K ,
Started with slight ache in my knees ,sure it's from Thursday's road 10K so just slowed and it eased..
The mud didn't make it any easier,I'm sure it doesn't do my form any good.. but just plodded along getting it done..a tough one today, but learnt to take the good with the bad π
But home to smash through 1000K
That's an achievement I can celebrate πββοΈπ₯
Happy Running all ππββοΈπ

Congratulations on running just over one thousand kilometers since you graduated from C25K, wonderful π
You have just given my an idea to count how many kilometers I have ran since graduating from C25K on June the 18th 2018, in the early days I didn't note how many or more recently any 3K runs I have ran, this morning I wasn't at parkrun but reran run 3 of week 5 of C25K, my running records on my new Smartphone only go back to July 2019, but since then I have ran a total of 1,072 kilometers which surprised me.
Ah brill Soarky! 1001k is a pretty awesome distance, Iβm very impressed - mind you youβve put in so much work, Iβm not surprised. And that tough muddy 10k got you there, so definitely cause to celebrate π. Hope the knee feels better πππ.
Well done! It's definitely a milestone (or even a kilometre-stone).
Stats for me (from Strava).
This year to date, 1467km.
All time, 1824km. (Includes most C25K runs.)
It would be nice to hit 1609km (1000 miles) for the year but I can't see myself clocking up the remaining 140km before the end of the year at the current rate.
If I count the runs and the walks, I'm at 2061km for this year.
Nice one, Iβm not even close - mine according to Strava, although it includes C25K All-time 1230km (since 11 may 2020 when I decided to start the mid-life crisis)
Year to date: 873km
Elev gain YtD: 6664m
Time 100hrs 40min
Shame Iβm going to be short of 1000km for the year, itβll probably end around 940.
Should really have posted that on New Yearβs Eve.
Still a pretty good achievement Reggit, fitter now than before the mid life crisis πͺ that's something to celebrate πππ
Congratulations on your 1000K, that's very impressive! As for the mud, just think of it as extra training. I did a walk last week in mud and I was exhausted afterwards. So well done for running in it!
